Building Moisture Consulting™
Building Moisture Consulting™
For the water problem nobody has been able to explain yet.
Some buildings have been repaired three times and are still wet. Building Moisture Consulting™ is an investigation engagement rather than a sales visit: we assemble the history, take the readings, evaluate the assemblies, and write down what the evidence actually supports.

The investigation
- History review: what has failed, what has been repaired, when it recurs
- Systematic moisture readings across suspect assemblies and materials
- Environmental conditions: temperature, relative humidity and dew point relationships
- Envelope, drainage, grading and mechanical-system review
- Evaluation of condensation potential versus bulk-water intrusion
The deliverable
- A written findings report with photos and recorded readings
- A stated moisture hypothesis and the evidence supporting it
- A prioritized correction plan, sequenced by impact and dependency
- Clear identification of scopes that belong to other licensed trades
Who requests it
Property managers with a recurring problem, owners deciding between competing contractor recommendations, builders diagnosing a warranty issue, and institutions that need a defensible written basis before committing capital.
